Registration Fees
All registrations must be submitted using the online form on this website or the official application form, available in the Downloads section. The last day for pre-registrations is May 31, 2008. After this date, however, registrations are still possible on-site. Day passes will not be provided.
Standard Registration
The Standard Registration is the right choice for all who want to take part in the scientific program with the most comfort: prices include a 6-day transport pass and lunches for every day.

Upgrades
If you would like to attend the Concert or the Museums Evening, please make sure you buy the appropriate ticket during your registration. Availability is limited. Basic Registrations can also be upgraded individually with the options below.
Please see section “Social Functions” for a detailed description of the Concert and the Museums Evening. The Public Transportation Ticket allows free transportation within the AB area, which covers almost all of Berlin (including airports) during the duration of the conference. Lunch vouchers can be exchanged for lunches at designated catering areas throughout the Conference Venue, offering a selection of dishes. Please note that there is a limited availability of social function tickets. Lunches can only be guaranteed if ordered in advance.

Registration Details
Reduced Fees
By selecting the reduced fees option for students, nurses or young physicians, you confirm that you will prove your status by faxing (Fax: +49 30 24603 200) a photocopy of the student ID card or a letter verifying that you work in the hospital as a trainee or nurse or a proof of full-time enrollment at an accredited university or college within 2 weeks.
Media Registration
To register as a media representative, please contact the media registration office at info@medizinkommunikation.org in order to receive a media registration form. There is no registration fee for accredited media representatives. However, to register as a media representative, you must submit a copy of your official press card. Only fully completed registration forms will be accepted. The registration will only be processed upon receipt of the above mentioned documents and payment in full (if any).
Group Registration
To register as a group (>10 participants), please contact the Conference Secretariat (hypertension2008@kit-group.org) directly.
Please note that we will not accept any group reservations without the individual mailing addresses of the participants. Individual mailing addresses must be included in order to register a group. Please note that payments for groups can only be made by bank transfer.
Methods of Payment
The registration fee must accompany all Conference registrations. Payment must be made in advance and in Euro (€ ) only, using one of the following methods:
1. If payment is effected offline by credit card, participants should complete and sign the relevant section of the registration form. Forms without a signature cannot be accepted.
2. If payment is effected by bank transfer, it should be made payable in Euro (€) to:

Letter of Invitation
Individuals requiring an official Letter of Invitation can request one from the Hypertension 2008 Conference Secretariat. To receive a Letter of Invitation, delegates must first register to the Conference and submit payment in full. Letters of Invitation will not be sent after May 15, 2008.
The Letter of Invitation does not financially obligate the Conference organizers in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the Conference are the sole responsibility of the delegate.
Visa Requirements
It is the sole responsibility of the delegate to take care of his/her visa requirements. Delegates who require an entry visa must allow sufficient time for the application procedure. Delegates should contact the nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications.
The organizers will not directly contact embassies or consulates on behalf of visa applicants.
The registration fee minus a handling fee of € 30 will be refunded after the Conference if the visa was applied for in time and an official proof of the embassy confirming that a visa could not be granted is sent to the registration department.
On-Site Check-in Procedures
If you have received your badge in advance, you do not register again on-site and may proceed directly to the Conference materials counter.
If you want to register on-site or have not received your badge in advance, you are required to personally check in at the appropriate registration counter at the ICC to receive your badge before attending any Conference session or event. The on-site registration counters will be open:
