It is our great pleasure to extend to you our invitation to Hypertension 2008, the joint congress bringing together delegates for the 18th Scientific Meeting of the European Society of Hypertension and the 22nd Scientific Meeting of the International Society of Hypertension, to be held in Berlin, Germany, from June 14 to 19, 2008.
After the successful 2006 meetings of ESH in Madrid and ISH in Fukuoka, we are convinced that the joint meeting of our societies also will offer you a great program with the latest results in the field of hypertension. We are expecting more than 7,000 participants at this meeting. The regular scientific program will be accompanied by a variety of opportunities to share scientific knowledge and clinical experience through state-of-the-art lectures, breakfast topical workshops and satellite symposia. It is also planned to include educational programs for practising physicians and health care professionals. Berlin, currently one of the most exciting cities in the world, provides the perfect background for Hypertension 2008. As the hometown of celebrated scientists like Robert Koch and Rudolf Virchow, Berlin has a long and outstanding history of medical discoveries. This history is continued by the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin and its research facilities at the present time. Come and join us at Hypertension 2008. Don’t miss the chance to meet and get in contact with health professionals from all over the world.
