Since its opening the "Internationales Congress Centrum Berlin" (ICC) is known as one of the biggest and most successful convention centers in the world. With its 320 m length, 80 m width and 40 m heigth, the building became one of the most famous buildings in german post war history, constructed by the architects Ralf Schüler and Ursulina Schüler-Witte. Until today, it is a role model for many convention centres in the world.
Thanks to the bridge construction the ICC is connected to the large Messe ground, an advantage only a few convention centres in the world have. The other "highlights" within the ICC are theHall 1 for about 5000 people (if you combine Halls 1 and 2 over 9100 people can see the stage) and the circular room for 200 people. Combined with state of the art light, sound and projection technology the ICC guarantees world class events for all events and conferences.
According to the statistics of the Union of International Associations (UIA), Berlin always ranks among the leading convention centres in the world and of course always on number 1 in Germany.
